Register Now for Nuclear Physics Virtual Advocacy Opportunity 2022

Nuclear physics research needs your help.

Following the finalization of federal appropriations for the current year, Washington will be preparing to pivot to starting the budget and appropriations process anew this Spring. We are reaching out to the entire nuclear physics community to ask for your advocacy in support of robust federal funding for nuclear physics. Research leaders at Michigan State, Jefferson Lab, Brookhaven, and others are organizing two days of virtual congressional advocacy on April 25th and 26th and urgently need your participation.

Please let us know if you can join and support these important federal advocacy efforts by registering here: https://forms.gle/XsX2kqqajDbaMmjE9

We will schedule a background briefing in advance of the April meetings and our support team will take care of scheduling and organizing the meetings with your representatives in Congress. This opportunity is open to past participants and new members of this group alike – faculty and students. We welcome everyone’s participation. Stay tuned for additional details and supporting materials.

It is vital that as many people as possible support this effort. Thank you very much.
