  • Circles shows which street entrances are accessible to visitors in the HOBs and SOBs.
  • Triangles show which street entrances are handicap accessible to all visitors.

 

  • On the House side:
    • All offices in Cannon have standard floor and room labeling. Room 456 will be on the fourth floor.
    • In Longworth, all offices numbers begin with the # 1, so if you are looking for room 1234 it will be located on the 2nd floor of Longworth.
    • In Rayburn, all offices numbers begin with the # 2, so if you are looking for room 2364 it will be located on the 2nd floor of Rayburn.

 

  • On the Senate side, all offices have standard floor and room labeling, starting with the building initials and ending with the room number. (For example, Senate Dirksen room 500 will be labeled SD 500, Senate Russell room 500 will be labeled SR 500, and Senate Hart room 500 will be labeled SH 500).

 

  • All Capitol office buildings are connected through underground tunnels to prevent going through security multiple times.

 

  • If you walk through the US Capitol from the Senate to the House or vice versa, you will need a staff member from a congressional office to escort you over.
