Please join us for a Nuclear Physics Congressional Advocacy Day!

We are reaching out to you to call for your help this year for the annual Congressional advocacy day on behalf of the Nuclear Physics Community. With the change in Congressional and White House leadership, this year presents a unique opportunity to advocate for strong funding for nuclear physics.

In lieu of our traditional in-person meetings in Washington, DC, advocacy this year will be online and digitally through virtual meetings with Congressional staffers either via a Zoom call or conference call depending on the capacity of each Congressional office. This is due to the fact that the U.S. Capitol Complex remains closed to the general public in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Congressional offices are not conducting in-person meetings.

We will be doing our second round of virtual Congressional meetings on May 19-20 and so you will see another round of messages about those meetings in mid-May.

And lastly, anyone in the Nuclear Physics community can still sign up to join in the May meetings if they haven’t done so yet.  They can sign up here:
